Map
Map is the semantic map as people applied it, across every source.
- The map draws it: each source a column of its tables that hold a tagged column or end a join hint, the number on each how many of its columns are tagged, and each join hint a wire between two tables labelled with its key. Select a table (or Tab to it and press Enter) and the inspector lists its columns, their types and their tags.
- Moving around it. A large map opens fitted to its frame. Drag it, or click it and use the arrow keys, to move it. Pinch, or hold Ctrl (โ on a Mac) and turn the wheel, or press
+and-, to zoom;0fits the whole map again. Once the map is larger than its frame, a minimap in the corner shows where the view is: click or drag in it to go there. A wheel without Ctrl or โ scrolls the page as usual. The ? beside the zoom lists all of this. - Tagged columns are grouped by tag:
customer_idwith every column across your sources that holds a customer's key, emailwith every address, and so on, each with what the tag holds. - Join hints are pairs of columns in different sources that hold the same key, how sure the proposal was, and the tag both carry. They are what lets a question follow one customer from your CRM to your support desk.
- Vocabulary lists every tag a column may carry, how its values are masked, and how many columns carry it. An Owner changes a tag's Masking: None leaves its values whole (the pattern net still hides an address, a phone number or a card for a role without personal data); Personal masks them for a role without personal data on the tier; Sensitive masks them too, and refuses a filter on them to such a role. The change reaches every connected agent at once and masks from its next call; the row says who changed it and when.
- Last changes says when proposals were applied and how many changes each made.
The map changes only when a person applies a proposal: in Proposals, or strata map apply <id> --yes on an agent.
