Sources
Sources lists every database your agents serve: its engine and version, its tier, how many tables the map holds, when it was last reflected, and whether its read-only proof holds.
- A source opens in the inspector: the read-only proof (what its agent found when it last proved the role it reads with cannot write), its database, environment and agent, and its tables with their row estimates.
- Reflect asks the source's agent to read its catalog again, never a row, and send the map. Prove again asks it to prove the role is still read-only. Both run on the agent, through its own connection to the workspace, so they need it running
strata serve; when it is not, they are dimmed and say so. - A table in that list opens in Schema, with its columns.
- Add source shows the command to run on the agent's machine:
strata connect add postgres --name crm --environment prod. The URL is typed there, never into the console. See Add a database.
